A 2 day Workshop for Teachers
May 27th and 28th, 2011

We would like to invite teachers of all grade levels and all subjects to come and work with educators and Geoscience professionals from across Canada for a 2- day Earth Science workshop. We will provide one in-house day of instruction, activities, lesson plans, resources and inspiration to help teachers bring Earth Science issues into the classroom. The second day will be a full day field trip exploring the Geoheritage of the Ottawa area, and will provide ideas for field based learning.
This workshop will be run in conjunction with the GAC/MAC 2011 Ottawa Conference.  $60 registration will include full access to the scientific conference and Geoscience Education session, the workshop (lunch provided), the field trip (lunch provided) and an extensive Resource Kit.  This is a phenomenal value!
